Treasury Organisation – Globar or regional

    what is the best approach for a treasury organisation in a multinational.

    Global central treasury. one big team in the HQ for all worldwide treasury management

    Regional: several treasury centers. E.g. one in Asia, one in Europe and one in Americas. Working closely together

    Hybrid: HQ central treasury who does the main functions but smaller regional treasury centers to have regional expertise.

    Happy to hear opinions and examples here.

    Hybrid: HQ for the centralized tasks (cashpoolings, connectivity systems, IHB platforms, payment factory owner, screening) and regions to be closer to the business and the local country regulation (regional expertise on advisory, external dealing, trade finance)
